BackgroundF. tularensis is a pathogenic gram negative, non motile bacterium. It is the causitive agent of the zoonotic disease Tularemia, also known as rabbit fever.

SpecificityThis antibody reacts with an LPS antigen present in Francisella tularensis (30 strains tested), no cross reactivity is noted with LPS from Y. pestis, Y. pseudotuberculosis, Y.enterolitica, V.cholerae, V.eltor, E. coli. F. novicida, S.typhi or Brucella spps..
StorageStore the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
