| Applications | This monoclonal antibody reacts with nuclear antigens in infected cells using Immunofluorescence and with a 155 kDa protein in the lysate of infected cells using Western blot or Immunoprecipitation.
A starting range of 1:20 to 1:30 dilutions for Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation is recommended. |
| Specificity | Reacts with HSV1 nucleocapsid protein of 155 kDa.
Cross-reacts with HSV2 nuclear protein. The sensitivity has been routinely tested using an indirect Immunofluorescent test (30 µl/test). |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
