| Immunogen | Rat spleen cells Swiss Num.: P34810 |
| Format | State: Liquid purified immunoglobulin fraction Purification: Protein A chromatography BufferSystem: PBS buffer pH7.2 with 0.09 % Sodium Azide as preservative and 1% BSA as stabiliser. Label: Biotin |
| Applications | Flow cytometry: use 10 µl of neat antibody to label 10e6 cells in 100 µl. (Results maybe enhanced using membrane permeabilisation). |
| Specificity | BM4000B recognises a single chain glycoprotein of 110kD that is expressed predominantly on the lysomal membrane of myeloid cells. Weak cell surface expression also occurs. The antigen is expressed by the majority of tissue macrophages, and weakly be peripheral blood granulocytes. Studies have shown that the antigen recognised by ED1 is the rat homologue of human CD68. Species: Rat. |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
