| Background | Basement membrane components play an important role in cell adhesion, locomotion, differentiation and embryonic compartmentalization. Laminin anchors cells to the basement membrane through interactions with integrins at the cell surface and collagens in the basement membrane. |
| Immunogen | Laminin preparation from EHS mouse tumor
|
| Format | State: Liquid, purified immunoglobulin fraction BufferSystem: PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.1% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide |
| Applications | This antibody is suitable for immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry on frozen tissues.
Recommended range is 1:25 - 1:200 for immunohistochemistry with avidin-biotinylated horseradish peroxidase complex (ABC) as detection reagent. |
| Specificity | Clone A5 reacts with laminin. Species: Human, mouse. |
| Storage | Store at 2-8°C for one month or (in small aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
