| Immunogen | Human Laminin, purified from human placenta. |
| Format | State: Liquid purified Ig fraction. Purification: Delipidation, adsorption to monospecificity by use of solid-phase absorbants, ion exchange chromatography (DEAE) and addition of preservatives. Zone electrophoresis is performed to ensure that only a gamma-mobility component is present. The product is 0.2 um filtered. Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE. Prepared by immunizing sheep with the above antigen. The resulting antisera is then delipidated and if necessary absorbed to monospecificity by use of solid-phase absorbants. Following adsorption, an immunoglobulin fraction is produce BufferSystem: Glycine buffered saline, pH 7.4 with 0.1% NaN3, 0.1% EACA, 0.01% Benzamidine, 1mM EDTA. |

| Specificity | Gives a single arc when tested by IEP against laminin preparation. No arcs are visible when tested by IEP against fresh human plasma. Identity has been confirmed by double diffusion (Ouchterlony) against laminin preparation and a known anti-human laminin. Species: Human. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Slight precipitation can occur on storage which may be removed by centrifugation and should not affect performance characteristics.
