| Specificity | The antiserum stains specifically the companion layer (innermost layer of the outer root sheath) of the hair follicle. Although there is a considerable homology of keratin K75 (K6hf) to keratins K5 and K6, no cross-reactivity was observed, neither in Western blotting nor in immunofluorescence microscopy. Species: Human, Mouse. |
