Background	Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a species specific colony stimulating factor which stimulates colony formation of megakaryocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages from bone marrow cultures.

Format	*State:* Lyophilized without stabilizer. *Purity:* > 95% by SDS-PAGE and visualised by silver stain. *BufferSystem:* PBS, pH 7.4 *Endotoxinlevel:* < 0.1 ng per �g of IL-3. *Reconstitution:* Restore in water to a concentration of 100 ng/ml. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at -20�C for future use. For most in vitro applications, IL -3 exerts its biological activity in the concentration range of 0.1 to 1.0 ng/ml.
