| Specificity | Ep-Cam, MK-1, an adhesion receptor expressed by most epithelial tissues, is important for epithelial cell growth and differentiation. Additionally Ep-CAM is the most universal marker of tumors of epithelial lineage. This antibody recognizes the extracellular domain of rat Ep-CAM, likely the EGF I domain, which is sensitive to reducing agents. Epitope location is other than GZ20. Species: Rat. Does not react with mouse. |
