| Applications | Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections. This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 1mM EDTA buffer, pH 8.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. |
| Specificity | Reacts with a 49 kD protein. At least five CD1 genes are identified (CD1a, b, c, d and e) . This antibody reacts with cortical thymocytes, Langerhans cells in epidermis, dendritic cells of dermis and Langerhans cells of mucosa of tonsil. It may be useful in the characterization of leukemias and lymphomas. Cellular Localization: Cell membrane, cytoplasm. Species: Human. |
