| Background | E2F's are DNA-binding proteins, which associate with negative regulators, such as the retinoblastoma p107 protein, resulting in an altered rate of gene transcription. E2F-4 is regulated by complex formation with Rb p110. E2F family members bind DNA as heterodimers with members of the DP family of polypeptides. |

| Applications | Immunofluorescence. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections: 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method 30 minutes at room temperature. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Western Blot (1:50 - 1:100). Positive Control: Tonsil. |
