| Applications | Suitable for Immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Ovalbumin in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Streptavidin (cat.no. RA021HRP) and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:4,000 is suggested for this product. |
| Specificity | Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin, anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified Ovalbumin [Hen Egg White].
Cross reactivities against Ovalbumin from other sources may occur but have not been specifically determined. |
| Storage | Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration. Restore with deionized water or equivalent; centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for four weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
