Datasheet Extract
| Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
| Immunogen | Ferret IgA α (alpha chain). |
| Format | State: Lyophilized purified Ig fraction. Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. Purity: and BufferSystem: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, containing 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA IgG and Protease free) and 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate as preservative. Label: Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
| Applications | Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot) (1/1,000-1/5,000), ELISA (1/20,000-1/100,000), Immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Ferret IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti- Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Ferret IgA and Ferret Serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Ferret heavy or light chain isotypes. |
| Storage | Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration. For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch. |
