| Polyclonal Antibody to //Golden Syrian Hamster IgG [H&L] -HRP | |
| Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
| Immunogen | Golden Syrian Hamster IgG, whole molecule |
| Format | State: Lyophilized purified Ig fraction Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. BufferSystem: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate as preservative. Label: Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
| Applications | Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
Recommended dilutions: ELISA (1:15,000 - 1:75,000). Western blot (1:1,000 - 1:5,000). |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Golden Syrian Hamster IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, anti-Peroxidase, Golden Syrian Hamster IgG and Golden Syrian Hamster Serum. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Chicken, Goat, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins. Greatly reduced reactivity will occur against Armenian Hamster IgG. |
| Storage | Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration.
Restore with deionized water or equivalent; centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
