| Applications | Suitable for Immunoprecipitation, Immunodiffusion, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Human IgA in a standard capture ELISA using HRP Donkey-anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (minimum cross reactivity) and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:4,000 to 1:16,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Monkey IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Monkey IgA and Monkey Serum. Immunogen was purified from Rhesus Monkey serum. Cross-reactivity will occur with closely related primates. No reaction was observed against Monkey IgG or Monkey IgM. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other monkey heavy or light chain isotypes. |
