Applications	Suitable for Immunoprecipitation, Immunodiffusion, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:10,000-1:50,000. Western Blot: 1:1,000-1:5,000. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:3,000.
Specificity	This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgA and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against Rat IgM or Rat IgG. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Rat heavy or light chain isotypes.
Storage	Store the antibody (undiluted) at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
