Datasheet Extract
| Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
| Immunogen | Human IgG whole molecule. |
| Format | State: Lyophilized Fab fragments. Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. BufferSystem: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) IgG and Protease free as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate as preservative. Label: Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
| Applications | Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Human IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, papain digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase and anti-Goat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Papain or anti-Goat IgG F(c). |
| Storage | Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
Restore with deionized water or equivalent; centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Shelf life: One year from despatch. |
