Datasheet Extract
| F(ab')2 Fragment of Donkey anti-Goat IgG [H&L]//-PE- | |
| Concentration | Phycobiliprotein Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml (determined by absorbance = 82.0 at 565 nm for a 1% solution for only those R-PE molecules to which at least one molecule of active antibody is bound) |
| Immunogen | Goat IgG whole molecule. |
| Format | State: Lyophilized F(ab')2 fragments. Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. Purity: / BufferSystem: 0.01 M Sodium Phosphate, 0.25 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.6 containing 15 mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.05% (w/v) and 0.05% Sodium Azide as preservative. Label: R-Phycoerythrin ((R-PE from seaweed; Molecular Weight 240,000 daltons). Absorptionemission: 490 nm, 545 nm, 565 nm / 580 nm Molarratio: 2.6 Reconstitution: Restore with 1 ml distilled sterile water. |
| Applications | Suitable for Immunomicroscopy (1:100-1:200) and Flow Cytometry (1:100-1:200) or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilution(s): The maximum amount of reagent required to stain 1 x 10e6 cells in Flow Cytometry is approximately 1.0 µg of antibody conjugate. Lesser amounts of reagent may be sufficient for staining. As a general guideline dilutions of 1:50 to 1:200 should be suitable for most applications. |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Phycoerythrin, anti-Donkey Serum, Goat IgG and Goat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Donkey IgG F(c), Chicken, Guinea Pig, Syrian Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, or Rat Serum Proteins or other Goat heavy or light chain proteins. |
| Storage | Store the antibody (undiluted) at 2-8°C prior to opening.
DO NOT FREEZE! Store reagent in the dark. Use subdued lighting during handling and incubation of cells prior to analysis. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Shelf life: One year from despatch. |
