| Background | DR6 is a member of the TNFR superfamily, which possesses four extracellular cysteine-rich motifs and a cytoplasmic death domain known to signal apoptosis. DR6 is expressed in most human tissues, including heart, placenta, pancreas, thymus, and several nonlymphoid cancer cell lines. DR6 is involved in the proliferation and differentiation of both B and T lymphocytes. |
