BackgroundCELSR3 is an Orphan-U GPCR with an unknown ligand.
In mouse, this gene is expressed during development at sites of active neurogenesis and in adult mice and rats in brain, spinal cord, dorsal root ganglion, and eye. ESTs have been isolated from human B-cell/lung/testis, blood, brain, colon, heart/melanocyte/uterus, lung, nerve, and placenta libraries.
