Specificity	This antibody detects 5-HT1F Receptor (HTR1F) at 3rd cytoplasmic domain.
Application	Immunohistochemistry (6.5 µg/ml). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100°C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
Background	5-HT1F, a Serotonin Receptor, is negatively coupled to adenylate cyclase. Selective 5-HT1F agonists may prove therapeutic in the treatment of migraine headache, lacking the side effects associated with the agonists of the 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors.
