StorageThis antibody is stable at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. DO NOT FREEZE! Store reagent in the dark. Use subdued lighting during handling and incubation of cells prior to analysis. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
FormatReconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent)
 State: Lyophilized purified Ig fraction.
Label: R-Phycoerythrin (R-PE) (Molecular Weight 240,000 daltons) from seaweed
 Absorption emission: 490 nm, 545 nm, 565 nm / 580 nm
 Purification: Immunoaffinity Chromatography.
Buffer System: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, containing 10 mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01 % (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative.
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Phycoerythrin, anti-Rabbit Serum, Mouse IgG and Mouse Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Rabbit IgG F(c) or Human Serum Proteins.
Add. informationOD566nm/OD280nm: 2.8
ApplicationSuitable for Immunomicroscopy (1/100-1/250) and Flow Cytometry (1/100-1/250) or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. The maximum amount of reagent required to stain 1 x 10e6 cells in Flow Cytometry is approximately 1.0 µg of antibody conjugate. Lesser amounts of reagent may be sufficient for staining.
ConcentrationPhycobiliprotein Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml (determined by absorbance = 8.2 at 565 nm for a 0.1% solution for only those R-PE molecules to which at least one molecule of active antibody is bound)
