| Immunogen | Golden Syrian Hamster IgG, whole molecule |
| Product Type | Secondary antibodies |
| Storage | Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration. For extended storage mix with glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for one month at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
| Format | Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
| State: Lyophilized purified Ig fraction | |
| Label: Cy3 (Molecular Weight 949 daltons) | |
| Absorption emission: 489 nm / 505 nm | |
| Molar radio: 6.1 moles Cy3 per mole of Goat IgG (acceptable range 6-20). | |
| Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. | |
| Buffer System: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 containing 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative and 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer. | |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Golden Syrian Hamster IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Golden Syrian Hamster IgG and Golden Syrian Hamster Serum. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Chicken, Goat, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins. Greatly reduced reactivity will occur against Armenian Hamster IgG. |
| Application | Suitable for Immunomicroscopy (1:100-1:1,000) and Flow Cytometry (1:200-1:400) or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. |
| Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
