Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, not present in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins. Recognizes AAV-1, found in Human and Monkey. in Immunofluorescence Microscopy and Dot blot analysis cross-reactivity with AAV-6 was observed. No crossreaction with AAV type 2, 3, 4, 5
