Datasheet Extract

Recombinant AAV-2 Rep78 protein, N-terminally truncated by 171 aa
Isotype control AM03095PU-N
Application Immunoaffinity chromatography: The antibody shows low affinity which is most useful in affinity chromatography experiments where mild conditions can be used for dissociation of the antigen.
Western blot: 1/50 - 1/100 (ECL method). In immunoblotting it reacts mainly with Rep52 and Rep40, faint reaction with Rep78 and Rep68 (long incubation time and short washing steps are recommended). Alterntively for immunoblotting cat. no. BM5092 is suggested.
Dilution buffer: PBS or Tris-buffered saline.
Immunofluorescence microscopy (only faint reaction). Cat.no. BM5011 is suggested alternatively.
Storage Store original vial at 2-8°C.
Store the reconstituted antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
Protein A chromatography
Buffer System:
PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.5% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide
Lyophilized purified Ig fraction
Restore in 1.0 ml distilled water.
Mab 226.7 reacts with Rep proteins (Rep78, Rep68, Rep52 and Rep40) of human AAV-2-infected cells.
