Application Immunofluorescence. Immunoprecipitation: Native verified; Use Protein A; Ab 2µg/mg protein lysate. Western Blotting: Ab 1µg/ml for 2 hrs at RT. Immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin embedded sections: Use Ab at 2-4µg/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Recommended positive control: 293 cells or adenovirus infected tissues. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Immunoprecipitates E1A associated proteins. The adenovirus early gene product E1A is a potent stimulator of cellular proliferation, which when overexpressed can overcome the growth-inhibitory effects of TGF-b. The E1A region encodes a series of related proteins (35-46 kD). Cellular Localization: nuclear.

Mol. Wt. of Antigen: 35-46 kD
