UCH-T1 recognises a surface protein of peripheral blood T-cells of 19 kDa molecular weight. As a pan T-cell marker this antibody is present on more than 95% of circulation human peripheral T cells. This antibody stimulates T-cell proliferation in vitro. This clone is reported to cross react with chimpanzee (12) and Cynomolgus monkey (13).
