Mouse L cells transfected with human CD8 gene

Format: This antibody is supplied as liquid immunoglobulin fraction, lyophilised from PBS buffer pH 7.2 with 0.1% sodium azide as preservative. Reconstitute with 0.5 ml distilled water.
Application Flow cytometry: use 10 µl of neat antibody to label 106 cells. Immunohistology on frozen sections (paraffin sections not tested). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Concentration 2.0 mg/ml (IgG)

Storage Store the antibody at 4°C. After reconstitution store at 4°C or at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
Ig Fraction
SM1746 recognises the human CD8 cell surface antigen, a 30/32kD glycoprotein expressed by the cytotoxic/suppressor subset of T lymphocytes, and more weakly by NK cells. Species Cross Reactivity: Clone YTC 182.20 is reported to cross react with Rhesus and Cynomolgus monkey (1).
