Specificity
Specificity:

This antibody reacts with a B-cell antigen that is associated with CDw76. The antibody precipitates besides the glycoproteins of 85/67 kD of CDw76 also 34/37/43 kD components. The binding of the antibody is strongly inhibited by CDw76 reference antibodies. CDw76 is present on most mature, peripheral Blymphocytes, and on a small subpopulation of peripheral T-cells, monocytes and granulocytes. In tissue sections, also standard formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue, the antibody stains most Blymphocytes of primary follicles, whereas in secondary follicles the staining is restricted to mantel zone lymphocytes. Some macrophages may be labeled, especially in thymus cryostat sections.
Antigen distribution:
Peripheral blood lymphocytes 22±8%
T-cells (E+) 15±6%
B-cells (E-, Ig+) 90±5%
Monocytes (CD14+) 80±7%
Granulocytes 90±6%
NK-cells (CD16+) < 1%
Thymocytes < 1%
