Swiss Prot Num:
This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the N-terminal region of Epstein-Barr thymidine kinase.
Property N-term
Application ELISA: 1/1,000.
Background Thymidine kinase (TK) belongs to a group of enzymes such as dihydrofolate reductase, thymidylate synthase, and DNA polymerase that are involved in DNA synthesis and precursor production. TK is responsible for catalyzing the phosphorylation of thymidine, which functions as a part of the pyrimidine salvage pathway involved in DNA synthesis.
