BALB/C mice were injected with human prolyl 4-hydroxylase.
Application Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: 1/25-1/50 dilution in an ABC method. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature.
Recommended positive control: tonsil.
Antibody DM197 is not suitable for paraffin tissue sections. According to customer information, this antibody can be used in FACS (requires permeabilization of cells). Does not crossreact with mouse cells in FACS.
Background A fibroblast is a connective-tissue cell of mesenchymal (somewhat undifferentiated) origin that secretes proteins from which the extracellular fibrillar matrix of connective tissue forms. Epithelial cells are cells that cover the surface of the body and line its cavities.

Storage Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.

This antibody is specific to beta subunit of prolyl 4-hydroxylase. It reacts with fibroblasts and myoepithelial cells.
