Antigen: HLA II.
Epitope: has not been further characterized.
Application Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: 1 µg/ml (1/400).
Has been described to work in FACS.
Background The genes of the class II combine to form heterodimeric (αβ) protein receptors that are typically expressed on the surface of antigen presenting cells (APCs): dendritic cells B-cells and macrophages. HLA class II is presented on acticvated T-cells. HLA class II molecules present exogenously derived antigen to the T cell receptor (TCR) on CD4+ T lymphocytes.
