Application Immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin embedded sections: 1/50 - 1/100. For paraffin sections high temp. antigen demasker, 10mM citrate, pH 6.0, is required. This antibody can be used on frozen and formalin tissue sections. Formalin-fixed paraffin-embdded tissue sections require, boilng the tisssue in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 mins. followed by cooling to Rt for 10-20 mins. This step is done prior to antibody. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:50-1:100 with AutoProbe III (Cat. No. 08-803). Western Blot: 1/100 - 1/300. Recommended positive control: Tonsil, Thymus, Spleen. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Concentration 0.3 mg/ml

Storage Store the antibody at 4°C. Do not freeze! Shelf life: one year from despatch.

Aliquoting Instructions: Do not dilute the entire reconstituted solution at once. Withdraw aliquots as needed with a micropipette and keep concentrated stock at 4C. Dilute according to the particular application being used. In general, the 0.05M Borate pH 8.0 containing 0.15M Sodium Chloride, 0.05% Sodium Azide, is a good dilutent to use with most antibodies. Avoid diluting the entire contents of the vial at once since the diluted solution may have reduced stability.
Reacts with an intracellular 228 kD protein found in the nucleus during interphase.
