Application Suitable for use in Double immunodiffusion and ELISA.
Caution Warnings: All human source materials have tested negative for HIV1, HIV2, HBc, HCV and HBsAg antibodies. No test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. Therefore, all material derived from human fluids or tissues should be considered as potentially infectious.
Storage Store lyophilized at 2-8°C for 6 months or at -20°C long term.
After reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month
or (in aliquots) at -20°C long term.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
Precipitation and collection of immunoglobulin fraction from delipidized and defibrinated Human plasma.
Buffer System:
0.01M phosphate, 0.13M NaCl with 0.02% Sodium Azide as preservative
Lyophilized Ig fraction
Restore with 2ml of deionized water.
Shows only the RNP precipitate band when tested using double immunodiffusion against Rabbit thymus extract. Specificity is verified by identity of precipitation with CDC-AF reference serum.
The titer obtained will vary with the test system; however, undiluted antibody shows a strong RNP precipitate band in double diffusion.
No reactivity at a dilution of 1/100 when tested against purified SSA, SSB, Scl-70, Sm, and Jo-1 antigens in an ELISA system designed to detect all IgG subclasses.
