Species Reactivity
Species reactivity (tested):
This antibody recognizes immunoglobulin, binding to Ig of the salmo, oncorhynchus and salvelinus geni.
The antibody may be used to detect increased levels of immunoglobulins in fish serum, which may be indicative of a parasitic or viral infection.
These include:
Salmo: Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout.
Oncorhynchus: Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Rainbow Trout.
Salvelinus: Arctic Char, Brook Trout.
