Liquid Tissue Culture Supernatant
This antibody reacts with T cells. Recognises more than 90% thymocytes and 40-45% mesenteric lymph node cells. The antibody immunoprecipitates a 67kDa protein from thymocytes. Little evidence of B-cell activity. This antibody was initially reported as recognising CD5, but does not bind to rabbit CD5 transfectants. Known rabbit CD5 antibodies also show binding to most B lymphocytes, which are not labelled by this clone.
