|Background||5x Antibody Plate Coating Buffer (CB1) maximizes the adsorption of antibodies onto polystyrene plates for use in Antibody-sandwich ELISAs. During the adsorption process, CB1 stabilizes the coating antibody maintaining its three-dimensional structure. By stabilizing the adsorbed antibody's tertiary structure, the antigen recognition regions are preserved. This allows for greater binding reactivity with the target antigen thereby enhancing the specific signal. By generating a higher specific signal, a lower concentration of coating antibody may be needed when this buffer is used, thereby saving valuable reagents. - Stabilizes the tertiary structure of antibodies to enhance their reactivity. - Buffered reagent to coat antibodies onto polystyrene microtiter ELISA plates. - Enhances adsorption of antibodies onto polystyrene microtiter ELISA plates. - pH 8.4 at 1X, ionic strength. - Plates can be coated at room temperature. - Retards bacterial growth. - Can be used at 50uL - 300uL per well at 1X.|
