Add. information Once antibody or antigen has been coated onto the plate and incubated, aspirate the coating solution from the plate. Block the plate by pipetting 300-400uL of BB1 into the wells of the ELISA plate (use the same volume or more of BB1 as was used for the coating solution). Incubate 1-24 hours, according to your protocol.

Background General Low Level Blocker with BSA (BB1) contains a mammalian protein blocking agent (based on BSA) suitable for most monoclonal and polyclonal antibody capture ELISA formats, and peptide and protein antigen-down ELISA formats. This unique blocking buffer contains proprietary protein stabilizers that provide a long-term stabilizing environment for dried antigen or antibody coat proteins, while minimizing nonspecific binding interactions during the assay process. General Low Level Blocker also contains an antimicrobial agent which allows for benchtop blocking and, when dried, storage stability for up to 18 months at 2-8C. - Contains a mammalian protein blocking agent based on BSA. - Can be used for antibody-sandwich ELISAs and antigen-down ELISAs. - Maintains the water of hydration for dried antigen or antibody coat proteins. - Minimizes nonspecific binding interactions during the assay process. - Formulated at 1X, ready to use. - pH 7.4 at 1X, ionic strength. - Plates can be coated at room temperature. - Contains anti-bacterial agents to extend the shelf-life of coated plates - Can be used at 300uL - 400uL per well at 1X.
Storage Store at 4C. Do not freeze.
