|Background||Nth, also known as Endonuclease III, has an apurinic and/or apyrimidinic endonuclease activity and a DNA N-glycosylase activity. This enzyme incises damaged DNA at cytosines, thymines and guanines. Nth acts on a damaged strand, 5' from the damaged site. This enzyme is required for the repair of both oxidative DNA damage and spontaneous mutagenic lesions.|
|Concentration||0.5 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)|
|Storage||Store undiluted at 2-8°C for up to two weeks or (in aliquots) at -20°C or -70°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
