|Background||Deoxyribodipyrimidine photolyase, also known as phrB, is involved in repair of UV radiation-induced DNA damage. This protein catalyzes the light-dependent monomerization (300-600 nm) of cyclobutyl pyrimidine dimers (in cis-syn configuration), which are formed between adjacent bases on the same DNA strand upon exposure to ultraviolet radiation.|
|Concentration||0.25 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)|
|Storage||Store undiluted at 2-8°C for one week or (in aliquots) at -20°C to -80°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
