Add. information The reaction requires Mg2+
Background PPK catalyzes the reversible transfer of phosphate between polyphosphate and ATP. The phosphorylation of ADP to ATP by polyphosphate kinase is by a processive mechanism; the phosphorylation occurs without release of the polymer from the enzyme prior to termination of the reaction.
Storage Lyophilized product although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °C. Upon reconstitution it should be stored at 2 - 8 °C between 2 - 7 days and for future use below -18 °C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1 % HSA or BSA).
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf life: One year from despatch.
