Background of Ribokinase / RBKS antibody
Ribokinase, also known as RBKS, belongs to the pfkB family of carbohydrate kinases. It phosphorylates ribose to form ribose-5-phosphate in the presence of ATP and magnesium as a first step in ribose metabolism. Recombinant human RBKS protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with RBKS polyclonal antibody ( Cat # PAB2742 ) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. HC = hepatocarcinoma.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue (hepatocarcinoma) reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
RBKS antibody [N1C1] detects RBKS protein at cytosol and nucleus on human ovarian carcinoma by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded human ovarian carcinoma. RBKS antibody [N1C1] (GTX116738) dilution: 1:250.
Western Blot: RBKS Antibody [NBP1-84116] Lane 1: Marker [kDa] 250, 130, 95, 72, 55, 36, 28, 17, 10 | Lane 2: Negative control (vector only transfected HEK293T lysate) | Lane 3: Over-expression Lysate (Co-expressed with a C-terminal myc-DDK tag (~3.1 kDa) in mammalian HEK293T cells.
