Background of TARDBP antibody

HIV-1, the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), contains an RNA genome that produces a chromosomally integrated DNA during the replicative cycle. Activation of HIV-1 gene expression by the transactivator Tat is dependent on an RNA regulatory element (TAR) located downstream of the transcription initiation site. TARDBP is a transcriptional repressor that binds to chromosomally integrated TAR DNA and represses HIV-1 transcription.HIV-1, the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), contains an RNA genome that produces a chromosomally integrated DNA during the replicative cycle. A similar pseudogene is present on chromosome 20.HIV-1, the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), contains an RNA genome that produces a chromosomally integrated DNA during the replicative cycle.   Mouse Monoclonal TARDBP Antibody (3H8)
Immunofluorescence: TARDBP Antibody (3H8) was used to stain a section of formalin fixed adult rat brain, specifically the hippocampus. Hippocampal neuron nuclei are stained strongly. Chicken antibody to GFAP shows the processes of astrocytic glial cells. Nuclei of all cells are revealed with DAPI DNA stain (blue). The TARDBP (3H8) antibody stains neuronal nuclei strongly and the nuclei of some non-neuronal cells much more weakly. Mouse IgG1 3H8 Purified Hu, Ms, Rt ICC/IF, WB
